ABSTRACT
   
              As part of B.Ed curriculum I conduct a" CRITICAL EVALUATION OF TIME TABLE" on the part of philosophy.It is the detailed analysis of time table of class 8 G students of G.H.S.S Kadayiruppu at the time of school induction .Through the study we get an opportunity to understand the merits of preparing time table and the area they were considered through the study Iwill understand it is in systematic way.




                                         CRITICAL EVALUATION OF TIME TABLE


INTRODUCTION 

          The school time table is a form of planning which is an essential component of an educational or any other kind of the institutions. The time table ensure that no teachers is scheduled for too many back to back classes or for two classes at the same time. Teachers are given to the opportunity to modify lesson plans during preparation periods and collaborate with their colleagues. The time table allows student to know exactly when a specific subject is scheduled .A well constructed time table established a natural rhythm and routine.

NEEDS AND IMPORTANCE
1.It ensures smooth and orderly working of the school
2. It prevent wastage of time and energy.
3.It ensuring equitable distribution of work among teachers .
4.It equitable distribution of time to different subjects and activities.
5.It helps in adjusting school work according to the needs of people.


EVALUATION OF TIME TABLE 

For the evaluation of time table I select standard 8 G in Govt. H.S.S Kadayiruppu . I reaches the following findings. The duration of class is 9.30 to 3.20 P.M..The time table containing 8 periods for every day. 
   If the subject are repeated in the same day .The periods are arranged in between duration.It avoiding boring by continuous class. Little break is essential to the memory.It will help the learner to take rest and relaxation. It helps reduce the boredom and problems of lack of concentration.In the case of practicals it is necessary to continuity for the completion of work without any breakage. So it practical periods are arranged in this manner.
    According to time management give a proper time for break and 40 minutes gives us lunch break.In Friday lunch break is starting at 12.10 to 1.30 . After noon section also provides break after two periods. 
   In this time table gives equal importance to all subjects at the same time Malayalam get one additional period while compared to other subjects.For promoting creativity and physical fitness through the physical education, art education and work experience. These are included in our time table.Every Friday one period for association.In this period also used for the cultural programs that means it provide over all development of the students.
   This time table become created on systematic way it ensure equal distribution of work among teachers with respect to the effective management of time and resource.It also promote school discipline.
